breathe deeply into your bodys memory
breathwork is a method that utilizes the conscious connected breath to gain access to our body and with that, the subconscious mind.
every day we breathe around 20.000 times. our breath is with us in every given moment and with that, a powerful tool when wanting to improve our mental and physical health.
breathwork not only increases our life force energy (Prana), our sleeping patterns and overall physical health but also aids in uncovering stored memories within our subconscious body-mind by working with the autonomic nervous system. breathwork can support in releasing trauma, handling PTSD, depression, anxiety, tension and other mental health or physical dis-ease.
our body system is made up of processes connecting into one another, like a clockwork.
as much as our inner workings are connected to one another, every experience from the outside leaves some kind of imprint within our system and our bodies remember!
every situation we have encountered in life triggers a response from our nervous system. in any given moment we either we feel safe, relaxed, happy and balanced or stressed, anxious, afraid, tense or unsafe. these states are called fight, flight, freeze or rest and digest states of the nervous system.
our system moves effortlessly between these two states throughout the day and balances any kind of situation. if we however get caught within a fight, flight or freeze reaction of our system and cannot act upon it, that built up energy gets stored within our body and subconscious mind and can cause physical and mental dis-ease. we call this dys-regulation of the flow state of our autonomic nervous system „trauma“.
„trauma“ does not necessarily have to be a life changing and tragic event but rather gets defined by our systems (dys)regulation of any situation.
